The COVID-19 pandemic has dramatically impacted the field of psychotherapy, causing many providers to shift to teletherapy as the primary delivery method. While research on the use of teletherapy has shown to be effective, studies are relatively new. More data on its advantages, disadvantages and treatment outcomes are needed, as well as a greater focus on ethical and clinical considerations.

After this 60-minute webinar you will be able to:
  • Apply the practical considerations that must be taken into account when implementing telehealth services
  • Discover the ethical considerations of using telehealth services
  • Explain the advantages and disadvantages of using telehealth for psychotherapy
  • Describe the effectiveness of using telehealth for psychotherapy services

This presentation offers one hour of CEU accreditation from CCMC and CRC.
